EUGENE -- NBC reporter Ann Curry is scheduled to speak later this month at the University of Oregon, her alma mater.

The university said Tuesday that Curry, former co-host of "Today," is to deliver the annual Ruhl Lecture on ethics in journalism. She's planning to speak on "Journalism: An Act of Faith in the Future."

The talk is scheduled Feb. 28 at the Ford Alumni Center.

The lecture is named for Robert W. Ruhl, former editor and publisher of the Medford Mail Tribune who won a Pulitzer Prize for public service in 1934.
