Another Oregon superdelegate goes for Obama

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Barack Obama has picked up the vote of a fourth Democratic superdelegate from Oregon. The announcement Friday about technology consultant Jenny Greenleaf of Portland gives him a 4-2 lead over Hillary Rodham Clinton among Oregon superdelegates. Oregon has a dozen of the party officials and leaders who can vote for whomever they wish to see have the party's presidential nomination. The state Democratic Party announced Greenleaf's endorsement and says it expects no word Friday from the six superdelegates who remain uncommitted. Obama won the Oregon primary this week and will get 30 to 31 pledged delegates as a result, leaving Clinton with 21 or 22.Most Viewed Stories
