Sen. John McCain coming to fundraise in Portland

Republican Senator John McCain was scheduled to come to Portland for a fundraising reception on his campaign for president.

McCain will appear at the Sheraton Hotel on Monday, May 12 at 5:00 p.m.

Sen. John McCain is not expected to attend a campaign fundraiser in Boise next week.

According to his campaign, tickets for a photo reception with the candidate are $10,000 per person or couple, the VIP Reception was $2,300 per person, and tickets for the main reception were $1,000 per person.

Democratic contenders Sen. Hillary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama have recently campaigned in Oregon ahead of the May 20 primary race.
