Local Coffee Company celebrating National Coffee Day

Boyd Coffee Company is giving coffee-drinking, KGW-TV viewers a break this Monday, on what is recognized throughout the country as National Coffee Day.
Viewers who mention “KGW” at either of Boyds’ two Portland retail stores on Monday will receive either $1 off a pound of coffee or $1 off their favorite coffee drink in honor of National Coffee Day.
Boyd Coffee Company has been serving food service operations in the Pacific Northwest and beyond since 1900.
It is a privately-held company managed by the third and fourth generations of the Boyd family, providing specialty coffees, espresso, rare estate coffees, teas and related equipment for restaurants and other food service operations.
Their Portland retail stores are located in the Pearl District at 404 NW 11th Avenue (503-226-2590), and Downtown in the Eliot Tower at 1229 SW 10th Avenue (503-241-4226).
