The Oregon Women’s Sailing Association is calling all sailors, from novices to experts and even those with no sailing experience at all, to participate in this weekend’s Sail for the Cure.

The event is set for Saturday, September 23rd, with registration beginning at 10am at the Portland Yacht Club. Sailing is scheduled between 12:30pm – 3pm, with dinner, silent & oral auctions, and live music & dancing slated for later in the evening.

Those without boats will be paired with boat owners and will have the opportunity to learn boat-handling skills.

All proceeds from Sail for the Cure, the benefit dinner, and the auctions will go to the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
