02:33 PM PST on Thursday, February 7, 2008

By DREW CARNEY, kgw.com Staff

The popular “Nelson & Terry” morning radio show on Portland’s 105.1 The Buzz is in the middle of a marathon airshift to raise money for the Children’s Cancer Association.

Watch Drew Carney help "The Nelson & Terry Show" on 105.1 The Buzz kick off their 3rd Annual Radiothon for the Children's Cancer Association.

"Nelson and Terry's 3rd Annual Valentine's Day for CCA" began at 6:00am this morning, Thursday, February 7th and will stay on the air live for 28 straight hours until 10:00am Friday morning, February 8th.

Along the way, dozens of young in-studio guests who have battled cancer head-on are sharing their inspirational stories. You can get involved in the fundraising efforts either by calling the phone number below, or making a pledge online.

Auction items are also a part of the event - available only during the 28-hour radio-thon. Check out the list of auction items, and tune in to place your bid on a 2008 Honda Fit, Rose Quarter luxury suites, diamond earrings and more.
