Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will see an upper level low move across the Northwest.  Lightning storms will be likely and very little rain is expected to accompany the light show.  Lightning strikes will likely spark forest fires, leading to high fire danger.

The red area on the above map over the Northwest represents a Red Flag warning that will be in effect near and east of the Cascades through the day Thursday.  A Red Flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are in place.  Dry fuels in will easily spark when lightning strikes.

Be sure and keep an eye to the sky for possible storms here in the metro valley.
