After a dry, pleasant opening day on the slopes, rain is falling all the say to 6,000 feet and higher.  Rain will be heavy at times through tonight.  It is possible the snow level will lower to near 5,000' by Saturday morning.  If so, the slopes could pick up 3-6 inches of powder.  But, it is also possible most of the moisture will fall as rain into the morning hours.

During the day Saturday, look for a mix of rain and snow showers between 4,000 and 5,000 feet.  Winds will be mostly west to 15 mph.  Sunday looks dry and mostly sunny  by noon.  Again, winds will be light.  Meadows and Timberline report a base between 30 an 40 inches.  Skiers are advised to be alert for rocks and thin coverage.  Colder temperatures Sunday morning will make for icy roads.  Have fun and stay safe.

Skibowl continues to wait for lower snow levels and remains closed.
