Saturday's PDX high temperature of 77 degrees broke the old record of 74 degrees, set back in 1942 and became the warmest day of the year so far. Here is a list of Saturday high temperatures:
Vancouver 76 degrees, Salem 75, Kelso 73, Troutdale 74, McMinnville 77, Astoria 70 and Tillamook 73 degrees.
Last year, Portland reached 70 degrees for the first time on April 21st, when the temperature warmed to 75 degrees. The record high Sunday is 71 degrees, back in 1987. I expect PDX to tie or set another record tomorrow. The normal daily high temperature is 59 degrees. No matter what happens, March will go out like it arrived, as a lamb.
