Thursday through Saturday's three day streak of sunny weather was the longest since the first week of October last fall!  Consider Saturday's sunshine was just the 8th sunny day from start to finish, since November first of 2012.  The graphic above shows the high temperature each day at PDX.

Sunny days, meaning zero to 0.3 percent cloud cover throughout the day are typically few in number during our spring months.  In fact, November through April average three sunny days or fewer.  Believe it or not, Portland does not see much of an increase in mostly clear days until May, when the average is 5 days.  July, August and September are Portland's brightest days by far with an average of 11 to 12 sunny days each month.

Unless the 7day forecast changes, it will be at least a short wait until the next time we see a back to back sunshine treat.
