Up to 8 inches of rain over the Coast Range and 2-3 inches of rain expected over the valley through Tuesday morning is expected to push many area rivers and streams to near flood stage or higher Monday night and Tuesday.  Rivers of concern include:

The Nehalem near Foss, projected two feet above flood stage, Wilson River near Tillamook, a foot over flood stage, Grays River near Rosburg, four feet over flood stage, Johnson Creek, near the 11 feet flood stage, Clackamas River at Estacada , near flood stage and the Luckiamute near Suver, a foot over flood stage.  The Willamette will see a sharp rise of 10 feet by Thursday, but it expected to stay well below flood stage.

Motorists should be aware of possible road flooding and high water spots, especially at night.
