A blanket of clouds stuck around for much of Wednesday morning, helping to keep temperatures cool. Highs Wednesady will be a few degrees cooler, right around 80. But that's right on track with normal for this time of the year.
Thunderstorms will again pop up east of the Cascades in the afternoon and evening. There's a slight chance a shower or thunderstorm could drift off the Cascades into the valley Friday, but the risk is low. We also have a slight chance for a shower on Sunday in the valley. But for the most part the weekend is looking pleasant with highs right around 80.
