So far so good across the area today. We have mostly clear skies, calm conditions and even some sunshine. Overall we won't have any major weather systems push through today. However, one system will push "close" to us. There is a fairly large, for this time of year at least, area of low pressure in the Gulf of Alaska. It will push most of its energy into Washington...that being said I think the north coast today will see increasing clouds and eventually a chance for some rain. In fact the farther north you are, like Kelso for example, the more clouds you'll see. The farther south you are, like Salem, the more sun you'll see.
Look for temperatures inland today then to be in the mid and upper 70s. Coast temperatures today will be in the mid 60s. Tonight most areas will see more clouds and they will carry into tomorrow.
Tuesday most areas will see more clouds and even a chance for some light showers. Most of those showers will stick to the coast, but Portland may see a few especially by tomorrow night.
The rest of the week the pattern won't change a lot, at least until the weekend. Look for partly cloudy skies Wednesday, mostly cloudy on Thursday with a slight chance for a few showers. Then we'll start to clear by Friday and into the weekend with much warmer weather.
Have a great Monday!
