The crack of the bat,the smell of hot dogs, admiring those Beaver players aiming for the big leagues; it's all part of the attraction of Beavers baseball.
But, they're about to lose their long time home at PGE Park to make way for Major League Soccer in 2011.
So, where will they play?
Deals in Portland for a new stadium at Memorial Coliseum and at Lents Park fell through.
So, Beavers owner, Merritt Paulson, has turned his attention to Beaverton.
Beaverton's Mayor is behind the move, so are many businesses, and residents.
However, there's a loosely formed group of citizens who want the chance to vote on whether they should pay higher taxes to help fund a new stadium in Beaverton.
The group is called "Let Our Voters Vote", or LOVV.
Tonight on "Straight Talk", you'll hear from LOVV's spokesman, Russ Draper.
The CEO of the Oregon Sports Authority, Drew Mahalic, is the organizer of the "Bring the Beavers to Beaverton" campaign.
Mahalic and Draper go toe to toe on whether the Beavers would be a blessing or a burden to taxpayers in Beaverton.
We also look at how the deal is connected to Portland's efforts to host a new Major League Soccer team.
