Got a positively lovely email from Nancy and David. They had a bit of trouble finding my blog on the new KGW.com... something that our main KGW.com twitter person here said he heard as well.
So, for those of you who have found me/it/this: WELCOME! Nancy and David want more baby Elle pics, too. And I will undoubtedly oblige to the point of ridiculousness once I carve out a little more time for myself to blog.
In the meantime, I thought I'd tell you that I'm thrilled, overjoyed really that my hair is growing back in. Yup. About 3 months post-partum my hair started to fall out. Happens to a lot of women. Only mine just kept right on falling out to the point where I had a rather obnoxious receeding hairline. In fact, I had to flip my part to hide a lovely little bald-patch on my right side. My stylist had to get a little clever with the color to better hide my peek-a-boo scalp. For those of you with STUNNING HIGH DEF televisions, you can probably get a nice look at the tiny fuzz that's just started growing back. Oh yeah. A fair bit of it is coming in gray. Really? GRAY? So, I'm bald and gray? Between that and the last 10 extra pounds I'm having a heckuva time outrunning, I think I look absolutely awesome. Not. But I don't mind much. Not even in this business where people love, love, love to email and call and tell you just how horrible they think you look. At the end of the day, I have a bouncing, happy, smiley, lovey, snuggly tiny human who thinks I am her universe.
Bald, gray, fat. Doesn't matter to me if it doesn't matter to my daughter.
Off to brush my few remaining hairs into place. ;)
