The Beavers are one win away! They pounded North Carolina 11-4 and are just 9 innings of winning baseball from thier second straight National Title.

It is simply amazing what the Beavers are doing. They have won 9 straight and are 10-1 in post season play. Their only loss was to Virginia at Virginia in the first round...and they lost in 13 innings.

OSU went 2 and 5 in thier last 7 games during the regular season. They were swept at home by Arizona State...and yet now they are one win away from a repeat.

The Beavers are fun to watch...not just because they're winning, but it's how they're winning. Great pitching, timely hitting and defense that is pretty much second to none.
They have outscored the opposition 49-23 in the post-season. They had one hit against Michigan and won. In that game...second baseman Joey Wong saved a run with a great play backing up first base. How about the double-play in Omaha turned in by Shortstop Darwin Barney and Wong. It was a big league play. You can't say enough about freshman pitcher Jorge Reyes, who now has three post season victories.

One thing to remember though. A year ago, North Carolina beat the Beavers in game one...and OSU rallied to win the final two.

Playoff baseball is the best....enjoy it while it lasts.
