It is becoming "must see TV", isn't it? From a personal standpoint, I didn't give a lick at what Roger Clemens had to say before reporters today. That is until they unveiled and played his taped conversation with former trainer Brian McNamee. That was some good stuff!!! This is about to get quite entertaining. Should be interesting in the next days, weeks, months to come how each of the presenting attorney's trade barbs. Now that's fun stuff....and something I'll keep a close eye on. It's an interesting case study---the most dominant pitcher of the modern era about to be nailed to the wall for lying about taking steroids. Or did he? You see, I'm at a crossroads after listening to the phone conversation. There has to be a motive by somebody here. Good thing that both New York and Texas (where Clemens and McNamee were located during phone call), are both one party states. In other words, under those state laws, only one party has to give consent for a phone conversation to be taped. It's unclear who made the call at the time of this blog. But it is about to get very, very intriguing over the next week for sure. It's a sad topic--especially for a guy who gets to share the news with you, the viewer. But, I must admit, I just eat this stuff up....give me more, more, more!!!
