Long-time fans of the Red-tail Hawks on the KGW/Audubon Raptor Cam, here's a quick update and an exciting announcement.

As loyal Red-tail fans may already know, after 5 years of nesting on the fireplace outside a Portland office building, our hawks moved their nest this spring. The latest update is that we continue to have active conversations with the owner of the building where the new nest is located about moving our camera to that location - but there's a little paperwork involved! We continue to do everything possible to bring back this live view of these Hawks in our city!

Meanwhile, we are thrilled to announce the launch of the KGW / Audubon Osprey Cam, the fruits of two years of planning with partners in Portland's south waterfront, where a pair of Osprey have been nesting since 2007.

We encourage you to visit the KGW / Audubon Osprey Cam page and take a look at this view of these fish-eating birds of prey, live in our downtown core.
