The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Lady (shelter #134209). She is a seven year old sweet and loving Golden Retriever. Lady is looking for a home that will provide her with endless love and make her part of their daily activities. Lady enjoys spending her time with her favorite people and bonds strongly. She has lived with dogs and cats in her previous home and seemed to do well with both. Because of her age Lady may do best in a home with older children that can respect her space. If there is a resident canine it will be necessary for a pet met to take place prior to adoption with Lady to be assured of compatibility. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
