Check it out. Raptor Cam has its own song: With Wilder Wings (The Raptor Cam Song)
Written and performed by Chris Hillabrand and Krista Bradford in Michigan. Krista has also been providing a lot of the webshots we have been posting this season.
How Cool is that! Thanks Krista!

With Wilder Wings (The Raptor Cam Song)
Verse: There is a site on the internet
Called the “Raptor Cam” in Portland, Oregon.
They have a camera set on a red-tailed hawk family.
The red-tailed hawks built a nest up high
On a fire escape above the city streets.
They raised their family on that man-made iron tree.
Chorus: And they fly, fly, fly, with wilder wings
And they fly, fly, fly, around danger the city brings.
And they fly, fly, fly, to a love song Angels’ sing.
And they fly, fly, fly, with wilder wings.
Verse: I felt like God with His loving eyes
As I watched their lives on my computer screen.
I watched the babies grow and watched them test their wings.
I felt so tense, I knew the day had come.
So I said, “Godspeed” to the little ones
And then later on they flew into the sky.
(Repeat chorus)
Bridge: And they soar by huge skyscrapers in the air,
With a hawk’s eye view of humans trapped inside their
Concrete jungle cages living concrete jungle lives. Ha Ha!
(Repeat chorus)
