The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Ziggy. He's a nice older Blue Heeler/Weimaraner mix looking for his forever home. Ziggy still has a lot of energy and would enjoy daily mental and physical activities. He has proven himself to be a bit of a talker and may not be suitable for apartment living. Ziggy has also found his way over a fence or two, and should always be supervised when outside. Ziggy knows sit, stay, down and come and walks well on a leash and would benefit from an adult only home or one with much older children and would do best as the only dog. His previous owners say “Just love him and he’ll love you.” If you feel like you and Ziggy are a good match, spend some time together today! A training consult is included prior to adoption. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
You can meet with Ziggy at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
