The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Winkie. HE is a sweet and sometimes shy little six year Lhasa Apso who's looking for his forever home. He will need a patient and quiet home that is stable and predictable. Winkie will need help with leash training and potty training. He will be happy if here is a warm lap convinent for him to spend time in and a soft bed that is just his size and lots of good treats. If given the time Winkie will be a very loving and loyal companion. He has never been around children and would do best in an adult-only home. Winkie would also benefit from additional manners training that is offered at the Oregon Humane Society. A training consultation is included prior to his adoption. You can meet with him today at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 and Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half prior to closing each day.
The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
