Wendy: Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day

Wendy is a real beauty and her picture doesn't quite show that she is a manx with a stubby tail. She may be a bit slow to adjust to a new home, but who wouldn't be. But once she is settled in you'll find she has a lot to say and has a nice comforting purr! Come visit her today!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Wendy.  She is a shy four year old manx lady looking for the purrrfect home! Wendy is pretty nervous and unsure of herself in new surroundings and needs a quiet, low key household and would do best with a family who will give her time to come out of her shell. She is currently living with other kitties in Parkers Place, one of the colony rooms, at the Oregon Humane Society and seems to be doing ok with the others, but she might prefer being the only cat so she can receive all of the love and attention in her new home. Once she feels comfortable she will show you how happy she is by chatting away and purring up a storm! Give this pretty girl a chance to love again! You can spend one-on-one time with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722.  The Oregon Humane Society will be closed on Monday, Memorial Day. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday; adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Wendy’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption
