The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Webster. He is a very active two year old Border Collie/Jack Russell Terrier mix searching for an active home. It will be essential for Webster to find a companion that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. His enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities. If you are looking for a running, hiking, or any outdoor activity companion than we highly recommend Webster. He will need continued basic training and socialization to keep him the best canine he can be. He will need an adult only home that is experienced with his breed and that can help with his development. If you are looking for a dog that is always willing to take on that next adventure at a full sprint than Webster may be a great partner for you. A training consultation is included prior to adoption. Come visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
Webster’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
