Vinnie is a handsome fellow that can hardly wait until he has his forever home. He is a typical Husky who will need to continue with training and will need to be kept busy!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Vinnie Mac (shelter #137096). He is a two year old Siberian Husky and is looking for a home of the permanent variety. He has an aloof personality, but many members of his breed are similar in this independent nature. Vinnie likes to keep my mind active, and nothing will turns the mental wheels quite like the classes offered at Oregon Humane Society. He is a young fellow and it is still necessary to keep an eye and a leash on him when taking him for a walk, or he might consider playing hide and go seek for a long distance. Vinnie has the potential to be healthy and happy in a loving home with some time, patience and a good combination of mental and physical enrichment.
He is at the Oregon Humane Society’s WESTSIDE ADOTION CENTER at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. The dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility. Dog Adoption Hours are: Monday: 10 am - 6 pm; Tuesday/Wednesday: 11 am - 6 pm; Thursday/Friday: 10 am - 6 pm; Saturday/Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm. Call 503-245-4363 to check on Vinnie’s availability.
Vinnie’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
