This little fellow is a true ball of fluff and his goal in life is to be loved! He is an elder statesman who needs children in his life to be older, mature ones that understand will be able to treat him with the respect due to a small dog that weighs under 10 lbs and is not a toy. He's a real sweet fellow that ready to settle into his forever home and spend his time receiving all the love possible, and in turn giving love to his new adoptive family.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Topper. He is an adorable older guy looking for a special home in which to spend his golden years. He loves attention and he doesn’t mind if you want to shower him with all your love. If you are looking for a furry companion that you want to spoil, then look no further. Topper does need to have children in the household be older, mature children who are patient and would handle him with care due to my age. He is a very small fellow, weighing just under ten pounds, so for younger children can be like toy size. Topper promises to add that little extra something your life has been missing until now; a fluffy bundle of love on four legs! And in turn you can give Topper a special home for his golden years to make the best arrangement for both of you! You can meet him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Hours for viewing are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9. Hours for adoptions are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
