The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Tigger Roo (shelter #121520). He comes with a CARE PACKAGE that includes hise special food, toys, bed, and more! It's time you met our handsome Tigger Roo... once you do, you'll wonder why you waited so long for an introduction! Tigger Roo loves to be around his people, receiving chin scratches and soft pets whenever he can. In return he likes to grunt and chirp and give gentle headbutts. We recommend he goes to a home with cat-saavy children as he can be sensitive to overhandling. Tigger Roo is diabetic in remission - this means he does not need insulin, but simply needs to stay on his special diet. Taking care of a diabetic animal can be a rewarding experience, but it requires a consistent schedule and a commitment to the responsibility of giving him meals on time every day. If you're ready to sail away on a cloud of bliss with a new feline friend, put Tigger Roo at the top of your list. You can meet with his at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday.
