Tigger is a handsome, laid back senior fellow who may take a while to settle into his new home. But once he feels he can trust you he is affectionate and will purr up a storm. He will do best in a home with adults, or older cat savvy children.

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Tigger. He is a older handsome gentleman who is looking for just the right people who will provide him with a loving and caring home. He is quite nervous in new environments, and will need his new people to be patient with him as he adjusts. Once he feels he can trust you, he is very affectionate and sweet, giving enthusiastic headbutts and purring up a storm. He has a sensitive tummy, and will need to stay on a special diet to keep him feeling great! Tigger is an independent boy who loves to love on his own terms, and does not like being overhandled. We recommend older children who know how to give Tigger his "me time". Tigger may also be happiest as the only pet. Purrhaps you are the one to give our fabulous Tigger the love he deserves? He comes with a care package! You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one have hour prior to closing each day.

His senior adoption fee of $12 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
