The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Tia. She is a dignified older feline looking for a quiet home where she can relax and enjoy her retirement. She can be quite friendly and enjoys making new friends, but does not enjoy the company of other animals so Tia would prefer to be the queen of her castle. Tia has never been around children before, and because she can be independent, we strongly recommend that she go to a home with adults only or older, more cat-savvy kids who know when to give her the space she needs. She is a special cat who just wants somebody to love. Could that someone be you? You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end at 6:30 on Sunday-Wednesday and at 8:30 on Thursday-Saturday.
Tia's special senior adoption fee of $12 includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
