Taffy's a shy, but sweet, little three year old Lhasa Apso mix who looks a little weary from his long trip from CA since he came to us through our Second Chance Program. Some kind words and good treats bring a wag to his tail!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Taffy. He is a sweet and loving fellow that can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This little guy is looking for a place to call his own and a companion to spend lots of time with. Taffy will enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. He is going to need to have regular time spent keeping his coat in manageable condition and for him to look and feel his best.  Taffy came to us from CA through our Second Chance program so we can give him a true 2nd chance in finding a forever home. You can find out if Taffy is the canine friend you have been searching for by meeting with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Taffy’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
