Tommy (shelter number 127733)is the Oregon Humane Socieety's Dog of the Day. He is a shy, yet charming two year old Terrier mix who is searching for patient owners with relaxed a lifestyle and enough patience to guide him and help him come out of his shell. Tommy needs someone to go slowly with him and give him time to adjust to new people and places, He will soon become your best friend. He will make a wonderful little lap buddy for a single person or couple with a low traffic home. I will need to go to a home with adults only, or one with much older children. Tommy came from the Baldwin Park L.A. Shelter through the Second Chance Program. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. You can look at all of our animals who are looking for a new home at www.oregonhumane.com.

Tommy's adotion fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
