Texas is a small very cute four year old Terrier. He walks well on a leash and is a bit timid at first as he just arrived from Merced, CA as a part of the Oregon Humane Society's second chance program!

The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Texas (shelter # 130038).. He is four year old Terrier who has just arrived in Portland from Merced, CA as a part of our Second Chance Program. He is a bit shy but quickly will warm up to some tender loving care. Texas will need a home that can be patient with him and help him adjust to his new surroundings with support and encouragement. Texas has received a bath since he arrived and his hair is glossy and the hair around his eyes has been trimmed so you can see his bright eyes. He walks well on a leash and will enjoy will enjoy going on walks in the neighborhood with you and will want to be a part of what you are doing. Texas will make a great lap companion and be more than willing to join you on the couch or in bed whenever he gets the chance. Texas can't wait to be a part of something special. You can visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society from 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and from 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
