The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Teddy Bear (124456).  He is an active 10 month old Shepherd mix searching for an active home.  It will be essential for Teddy Bear to find a companion that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated.  His enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities.  If you are looking for a running, hiking, or any outdoor activity companion than we highly encourage Teddy Bear.  He will need continued basic training and socialization to keep him the best canine he can be.  If you are looking for a dog that is always willing to take on that next adventure at a full sprint than Teddy Bear may be the partner you have been looking for.  You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722.  Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Monday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday.  Adoption hours end one half hour to closing each day.

Teddy Bear's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS IDtag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
