The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Taki (50973). "Boy, am I ready to start my new life! I'm not one to dwell on the negative, but I have had a rough few years, and am ready to put that in the past. Even though I'm a hound, I'm a very affectionate girl, and want a home with people who want to cuddle up with me. Don't get me wrong, I do love exploring the outside world too! At five and a half years old I have passed all that puppy craziness, and will just need some guidance to learn the rules of my new, hopefully forever, home. If you are a dog experienced owner, and have a home free of young children and cats, allow me to be your Holiday gift to yourself this year! You can meet with me at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722). Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday through Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday through Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day."
Taki's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
