The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Sophie. She is a four year old Papillion mix that just arrived from California as a part of our Second Chance Program to find a forever home. She is very overwhelmed and super shy at what is going on and will need lots of patience, love and understanding as she adjusts to her new home. Sophie also is going to need help in losing a few pounds with a good diet. Once she’s comfortable with her new living situation she’ll be ready to join you on walks as well as spend time curled up with her new best friends on the couch with a good book or a favorite movie. Sophie may always be on the shy side and but she hopes you will love her anyway. She will need an adult only home.
Sophie’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
