The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Sissy. She is an adorable one year old Kelpie Mcnab mix who will need some time to settle in and relax in a new home. If you don't push for too much too soon, it will be worth the wait. Just like a lot of people, Sissy is going to need time to warm up and show her best side. She is cautious with strangers, but with time, she will show you all the love she has to give. Sissy may do best in a quieter home with older children and another confident dog who can show her what is like to live in house where she is a loved and pampered pet, and how to behave in this situation! You can meet with Sissy at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.

Sissy's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
