The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Scout (shelter # 130142). She is a very handsome seven year old Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who is sweet, and a bit shy at first. but it's so worth taking the time to get to know her. She is looking for a new best friend. Scout has been in her previous home her whole life, so will need some time to adjust to her new home and person. She may bark if I left outside too long, so would like to be an inside dog. Scout loves to play in the water and would love it if you had a kiddie pool. She really needs a home without dogs or cats as she likes to have all the attention for herself. Scout will also need a home with older, mature children who understand that she is an older gal who does not always want attention. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day

HIS adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
