The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Scout (shelter # 130142). She is a very handsome seven year old Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix who is sweet, and a bit shy at first. but it's so worth taking the time to get to know her. She is looking for a new best friend. Scout has been in her previous home her whole life, so will need some time to adjust to her new home and person. She may bark if I left outside too long, so would like to be an inside dog. Scout loves to play in the water and would love it if you had a kiddie pool. She really needs a home without dogs or cats as she likes to have all the attention for herself. Scout will also need a home with older, mature children who understand that she is an older gal who does not always want attention.
