The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Sadie Lynn. She is an older Shepherd mix that is a happy and self-confident girl who enjoys being around her people and loves being petted at any opportunity. It takes some time for her to warm up to new people but she is very loving, loyal, and protective of "her" people. Give her time and you will see her true personality! Sadie would do will in a low-traffic but active household where she would be the only pet, no other dogs or cats, please. She also needs to go to a home without small children. Sadie is very well behaved, plays with her chew toys, walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. She would be a great pal for an active individual or family. While she doesn't need a marathon runner, she does love exercise. When it's time to go for a walk, she's so happy that she dances in circles, and she even runs twice a week with OHS volunteers! If you are interested in meeting with this sweetie, please contact the Foster Department at foster@oregonhumane.org.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
