The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Sprinkle (116971). She is one of the cats from the most recent rescue. She was removed from a hoarding situation and then brought here for some much needed rest, TLC and an opportunity to start a new life. She will require some special consideration in your home because of her past living situation. Sprinkle who is six years old is beginning to learn about the live as a well cared for kitty and responding by accepting petting and being close to her humane friends. She will need everyone in her new home to be patient and understanding with her as she slowly adapts to you and her new environment. Confining her to a quiet room with a litter box, food, toys and water will help her feel safe as she slowly settle into her new life with you. You can meet with Sprinkle at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 9 am to 7 pm Sunday through Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday thought Saturday.
Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
