The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Simon O'Malley (124766) Are you looking for a laidback and affectionate gentleman to keep you warm at night? Then look no further, because Simon O'Malley could be the one for you! This handsome ten year old bundle of love has had a bit of a rough start to his life, and is looking for a home where he can retire and live the life of luxury. Simon was previously an outdoor cat, so he might enjoy having access to the outside in his new home. His rescuers noticed that he got along well with other cats, but that dogs seemed to cause him stress, so Simon might do best in a dog-free home with another feline buddy to keep him company. Not much is known about his history with children, so he might do best with older, more cat-savvy kids who can respect his space. You will surely fall head-over-heels for Simon O'Malley! Come meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and from 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end 30 minutes prior to closing each day.
Simon''s adoption fee is $12, as he qualifies for the special "Senion Cat Discount". The fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
