The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the day is Rydell (shelter # 131110). If you are looking for a spunky boy with energy to spare Rydell might be the man for you. He is a three year old Terrier mix that is ready to take on the world at full speed and can't wait to go on that next adventure with someone special. He can forget his manners when he gets excited and will need mature children who can help him control his enthusiasm. Rydell would benefit from continued training and socialization. He has been living at Lexi Dog, our Westside Adoption Center, and has been getting get along well with all of all the other dogs that are there for their regular doggie day care and boarding programs. However, if you have a resident canine friend it will be necessary to have a pet meet with the two of them prior to adoption. He will make a great companion for someone with a daily exercise routine who wants to have a spirited canine at their side. Rydell is at Lexi Dog on 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland 503-245-4353. See http://www.oregonhumane.org/adopt/OHS_Westside_Adoption_Center.asp for adoption hours.
