The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Rupert. He is living at our Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland 503-327-821. He is a three year old Scottish Terrier mix that is looking for a warm lap to lie on. It takes him a little time to trust new people in new places, but give him a chance and he’s sure to become your great friend. Rupert has lots of energy and really does enjoy getting daily bouts of exercise; and a Basic Manners class, like that offered at the Oregon Humane Society, would help further boost his confidence in new situations and improve his manners in general. We know he can get along with other dogs as in his current hme at Lexi Dog he joins the other dogs that come in for Doggie Day Care each day, along with our other Oregon Humane Society dogs. Rupert came here as a part of our Second Chance Program with the hope of finding his forever home. We know he’s looking forward to a new home, a soft bed, good meals, daily exercise and most important a family that will love and care for him – and share their laps! Visiting and adoption hours for dogs at our Westside Adoption Center are: 10-6:00 on Monday-Friday; and 10-4:00 on Saturday-Sunday.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
