The Oregon Humane Society Dogs of the Week are Horatio (shelter #130899)is a twelve year old Pomeranian and he is bonded with Rocky (shelter #130899)who is a Terrier mix who is also twelve years old. They are at the Oregon Humane Society as their owner passed away. Don’t pass these fellows up because of their age, they are not up to long walks and Rocky may find stairs to be a bit much, but they can enjoy a stroll around the block. After activity Rocky is happy to settle down on a comfy couch and Horatio’s favorite place to be is in a human’s lap! Both of these fellows will take some time to adjust to the change in their living space and new family. They don’t have as much patience with children as they used to, but may be able get along with ones that are respectful, calm and gentle. Both of these gentlemen will need continued help with house training as not much attention was given to this in their past. We have a video you can watch at: http://www.oregonhumane.org/adopt/detail.asp?animalID=130899 . You can meet with them at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722.
