The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Rooibos (shelter #129681) who is a 4 year old Pomeranian mix. This little guy is quite stunning, but looks aren't everything! He's not for the first-time dog owner, he'll need guidance and patience! Rooibos is a sensitive fella who hasn't quite gotten used to his new environment. He can be nervous in new situations and prefers to take things slowly so he can feel more comfortable in what is happening around him. Rooibos needs an adult only home with people who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in. With patience and lots of treats, of course, Rooibos will open up and become a great addition to his new family. A training consultation is included prior to Rooibos' adoption. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722 www.oregonhumane.org. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
