The Oregon Humane Society’s Dogs of the Day are Punkin Pie and Anchovie. Punkin Pie is a sweet guy who wants a couch to lounge on for movies every Friday night! They both were previously housetrained and enjoy going out for walks each day. He can be very affectionate and likes to snuggle up on the bed. He can be vocal at times and may not do well in an apartment. Older children are recommended due to the fact that they will do best in a quiet, low traffic home. He has lived with Anchovie his whole life and needs to go home with her. Anchovie enjoys walks on the beach, lounging in front of the fireplace and tasting the best foods. She loves spending time relaxing and hanging with her family. She can be pretty affectionate and devoted. She would do best with older children who can respect her space and would love a quiet home with not too much activity. You can be the one to make their lives complete and give them a retirement home. Visit with them at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
Their adoption fees include neuter and spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
