Porter is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the day. He is a two year old Golden Retriever mix that is a handsome and loving fellow. He is looking for a home where someone is there most of the time and it is a nice and relaxing low traffic place. He does well with daily time out in the fresh air, such as a nice long walk, a hike in Forest Park or hanging out with you in your backyard while you garden. Porter would benefit from accompanying you to one of the Oregon Humane Society’s Basic Manners classes so together you can learn how to help him to become a well behaved canine citizen. A medical consultation will be provided prior to his adoption to learn how to best manage his seizures and about his restricted diet. Porter is more than ready to share his love with you. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
