The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Pork Chop. She is a three year old Shepherd mix who is at the Westside Adoption Center which is located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique & Social Club on 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland 503-327-8219. Here she, and other Humane Society dogs, spend their days playing with the dogs that take part in Doggie Day Care at this location. Pork Chop is a super sweet girl who loves to be with people! If you are looking for a dog that would enjoy going on all of your adventures with you, this is your girl! Pork Chop has plenty of affection to go around. She obviously enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well in a home with another friend. Don't miss out on this lovely girl! There are also other dogs available for adoption at this location. Visit our website www.oregonhumane.org and then select Adopt on the far left side, then Westside Adoption Center. While you are at Lexi Dog, stop by and visit the kittens available for adoption. They are full of cuteness!

All pets come with the full complement of Oregon Humane Society benefits (spay/neuter, initial vaccines, microchip, collar and OHS ID tag, and a free first veterinarian visit). You'll be able to visit with OHS pets one-on-one and bring your own dog for a pet meet with adoptable dogs. Viewing and adoption hours for dogs and cats are: Mon-Fri 10-6; and Sat-Sun 10-4.
