The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Popsicle. This bright girl five year old girl has a wide-eyed sense of wonder about the world around her and has a gorgeous tortiseshell and white coat that's oh so soft! Strangers and being left alone for unusually long periods of time make her feel anxious. Though Popsicle is shy around strangers she absolutely adores her human parents and is always excited to see them come home, rolling around on the floor for belly rubs. She enjoys playing with a wide assortment of toys, and one of her life goals is to capture that red dot from the laser light! Care should be taken to keep plastic away from her as she's developed the pesky habit of snacking on it (things like plastic bags, bands, and tabs from bread). Popsicle is terrified of children, so a quiet adult-only home where she can be given plenty of attention would be best. Invite Popsicle into your lives and bask in the love! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Popsicle’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
