Pippa is only nine months old and still a puppy! Her picture definitely shows her Vizsla heritage. She's ready to become your shadow and join you on walks, jogs and anything that will keep her busy. Meet her today at the Oregon Humane Society!

Pippa  (shelter #127982) is the The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. She is a young and energetic nine month old pup looking for a family that will commit to training, exercise, and love for years to come. Pippa is a Vizsla mix. The Vizsla originates in Hungary and is of the sporting type. They have high energy and are gentle mannered and quickly form close bonds with their owners and also with children. They are often referred to as “velcro” dogs because of their tendency to stay close by. Pippa loves to play, loves to be busy and loves to be with her person. She may be too rough for small children so older children are recommended. She has lived with cats, but she will chase them so we would recommend a home without them. She likes to go in the car and wants to please her people. Pippa came to us from the Jackson Co. Animal Control through the Second Chance Program. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday- Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Pippa’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
