Pepper is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day. She is a quirky little Pekingese/Papillion looking for someone to love her.  She is a sensitive soul who takes some time warming up to people. Pepper needs a quiet adult only home or one with much older dog savvy children as she does not like fast movements or loud noises. She has lived with dogs and cats in the past and did well with them. She just LOVES to go for walks and also loves to be with her people whether it is inside the house or helping them with yard work. Pepper will need some time to adjust to her new home and family. She is at the Oregon Humane Society’s  Westside Adoption Center which is inside Lexi Dog at 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland 503-245-4363 where she is mingling with the dogs of all sizes that come in for doggie day care each day. Visiting and adoption hours at the Westside Adoption Center are from 10 to 6 on Monday-Friday; and 10 to 4 on Saturday-Sunday.

Pepper’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
